Skype, Zoom, FaceTime or Phone Counselling

I also offer counselling from the comfort of your own home via Skype, Zoom or FaceTime, or even just a phone session. No matter where you are in Australia, or in the world, using the power of technology we can easily work together to help you create the best life and relationships possible.

As long as you have access to a phone, either a Landline or a Mobile Phone (in Australia) or to a reasonable internet connection and the free Zoom or Skype software (Australia or internationally), we can work together. These sessions can  be used standalone... or even in conjunction with face-to-face session.

"Hey Paul,
I was a little hesitant to set up a time for a phone session. I really wasn’t expecting the phone counselling to be as good as our in person sessions… But “wow” – I can’t believe how much it felt like I was in the same room with you. It’s as good if not even better than our sessions in Sydney. How do you do that?

Thanks again…”

Zoom, Skype or FaceTime Sessions

While using the internet for counselling and psychotherapy might seem a little unconventional at first, it’s actually a great use of our modern technology and the internet. Online technology makes it easy for you to work with a counsellor no matter where you live.

Zoom and Skype are free, high quality video conferencing programs that allows us to talk together (and see each other) using your computer with speakers (or a headset) and a webcam. They are both free to download and easy to install.

All Skype and Zoom communication is fully encrypted, even more so than your telephone probably is, so rest assured that online sessions done in this way are fully confidential.

I’ve actually been using Skype and other online technologies with great success when working with clients both in Australia and around the globe since 2008. I’ve also had online counselling sessions with many of my Australian clients who were either holidaying or who moved overseas, or found themselvesworking abroad.

Benefits of online counselling

Online counselling, or TeleHealth appointments make the counselling process extremely convenient in the following ways:

  • No commute or travelling required
  • No parking issues
  • No childcare issues
  • Easily accessible
  • Can be done from the comfort of your own home
  • You don’t have to wear shoes or dress up
